Thomas Kinkade?! Yuck! I might have given it 1 star if it weren't for the horrifying "painter of light" background.

Seriously, Thomas Kinkade is like the Dan Brown of the art world. His paintings are for people who have never spent more than a second or two thinking about art. White-trash parlor-art for old ladies and (apparently) young gay men.

Anyway, this submission could have been better if you had told us the story of why they are kissing and what it means to you. It seems like, from your author comments, the subject is one that is important to you. Try to think of ways to make us feel what you're feeling. And maybe play down the gayness a bit so that it can find a broader audience.

Nice rhythm overall and your sketchy red-on-black art style is appropriate if a little unrefined. You could probably benefit from making a strong storyboard or outline before even opening Flash and trying to stick to it as much as possible. Also watch your musical transitions, they're a bit jarring. I liked the part where he flipped backwards over the cop car and shot through the windshield in slow-motion, very imaginative! I was sad to see the bike (R6?) get trashed, though.

You have talent. You should keep refining it.
